I have an amazing girlfriend!
So, for those of you who don't know, I have a girlfriend now.

She is an amazing, epic girlfriend. I'm afraid that all of you have lost at girlfriending, because I have completely and utterly won.

She's detailed the whole story over on her lj.

The tragic part is that she's a student in Rhode Island right now, whereas I'm a codemonkey in California.

The retardedly sappy part is that I'm flying out there for the second weekend in a row. I didn't mean to, but I just couldn't help myself today. I was jonsin' bad, checked the prices of tickets on a whim, found that they were surprisingly close to normal price for being such short notice, and purchased before I really had time to think.

So anyways, yeah. She is wonderful. She is tremendous. She is insanely great.

And she makes me dumb and happy.

Her name is Sophia. Sophia is totally neat. She makes me dizzy.

...Okay. Hopefully that'll be the only LJ post I ever make as a 12 year old schoolgirl.

That's awesome! Congrats. I'm sorry that she is so far away, but that's made less hard when you can actually afford to fly out and see her, haha.

So she claimed gay before? That seems to happen fairly frequently. Have you ever heard of Dar? Awesome webcomic. It's actually just this woman's journal that she keeps in webcomic format, and it's hilarious. It's like reading about Lily.

Man, I really miss you. You need to come back to Texas. I wrote a really long whiny LJ post about flaky people that I can't actually post cause I'm stealing internet and my connection is shitty, but suffice it to say, you're one of the few non-flaky people I know. Come back! :( I'll probably be *actually* moving to Austin in around a year. You'd better be there too, so that when we go to the Drafthouse we can BOTH order a beer! :O

Yeah, she identified gay up until she ran into me on the street. And then leetle cartoon hearts started floating out of her and she got confused.

I miss Austin. It's awesome. I would so live there again. I was planning on vacationing there again in the meantime, but that may be in a bit.

In the much shorter term, I'm moving into San Francisco proper. If you want to visit, I have a couch.
